Cicero’s Transformation – A Journey of Progress

Cicero has undergone a remarkable transformation over the past two decades, a testament to visionary leadership and community-driven progress. Under the guidance of Town President Larry Dominick and the unwavering support of the Board of Trustees, Cicero has become a safer, more vibrant, and more connected community.

When President Dominick took office in 2005, Cicero faced significant challenges. Crime rates were high, infrastructure was deteriorating, and residents felt disconnected from their local government. Determined to address these issues, Dominick introduced bold initiatives that laid the foundation for today’s Cicero.

Public safety became a top priority. Investments in advanced policing technology, including the Real-Time Crime Center, and community-focused initiatives have drastically reduced crime, creating neighborhoods where residents feel safe. The town’s infrastructure has also seen a significant overhaul. From modernized parks to new community centers, these upgrades provide residents spaces to connect and thrive.

Economic development has been another cornerstone of Dominick’s administration. By attracting new businesses and creating jobs, Cicero has strengthened its local economy and ensured sustainable growth. Initiatives like these improve the town’s financial stability and foster a sense of pride among residents.

Building Cicero’s future means addressing current challenges and laying the groundwork for the next generation. Dominick’s administration—alongside the dedicated Board of Trustees—continues to prioritize the needs of all residents, ensuring that progress is inclusive and far-reaching.

Today, Cicero is a shining example of what can be achieved when a community comes together with a shared vision. The journey is far from over, but with strong leadership and an engaged community, Cicero’s future looks brighter than ever.
