Cicero’s senior residents donned their festive gear and broke out their dance shooes as they helped kick the Christmas holiday in high gear with the Annual Senior Christmas Party. The festive event, held Dec. 16 this year, included lively Christmas music, dancing, and food for one of the larger crowds to come out for the Christmas dinner.
“It just does not feel like Christmas unless I get to spend it with so many of our amazing long-time residents of this Town,” said Town President Larry Dominick. “We always make sure no other community in the Chicagoland area provides the types of services and activities for our senior residents the way we do, and hosting this party is just one of the many reasons why we do it.”
As the afternoon continued, residents were able to win some of the many Christmas-themed prizes from the raffle, just one of the long-standing traditions of the Senior Activities and Senior Services programs in Cicero.
